Incoterms

The incoterms are a whole of commercial terms, shortened in initials of three letters; these terms define the responsibilities and the obligations of a salesman and a purchaser within the framework of international contracts of trade. They make it possible to determine when the obligations and loads of the exporters are completed and when those of the importers start

 EXW: EX WORKS - With the FACTORY (... agreed place), the exporter must put the goods agreed upon for provision of the purchaser, but is held neither to subscribe the contract of carriage, nor the contracts of insurance of the goods

 FCA: FREE CARRIER - FREE CONVEYING (... agreed place), the exporter remains "risks some" on the goods as long as it is not charged on the truck, the train or the boat (according to the means of selected transport)

FAS: FREE ALONGSIDE SHIP - FREE ALONG the SHIP (... wearing of agreed loading), the exporter must deliver the goods along the ship indicated to the wearing of loading agreed upon

FOB: FREE ONE BOARD - FREE EDGE (... wearing of agreed loading), the exporter must deliver the goods aboard ship indicated by the purchaser, with the wearing of loading agreed upon

CFR: COST AND FREIGHT - COST AND FREIGHT the exporter must deliver the goods aboard ship with the wearing of agreed loading and conclude with its own expenses a contract of carriage from the goods to the wearing of destination agreed upon

 CIF: COST, INSURANCE AND FREIGHT - COST, INSURANCE AND FREIGHT (... agreed wearing of destination) the exporter, in addition from the obligations of CFR must obtain with its own expenses an insurance (to be provided the purchaser) covering 110% of value CIF of the goods

CPT: CARRIAGE PAID TO - PORT PAYS UNTIL A (... agreed destination) the exporter is held to pay transport until the destination agreed upon

 CIP: CARRAIGE ANDINSURANCE PAID TO - PORT PAYS, INSURANCE INCLUDED/UNDERSTOOD UNTIL A (... agreed destination) the exporter must, in more of the obligations of CPT, to ensure the goods for 110% minimum of its value CIP

DAF: DELIVERED ATFRONTIER - RETURNED to BORDER (... agreed place) the exporter must ensure its own expenses the carriage of the goods instead of delivery with the border agreed upon,

DES : DELIVERED EX SHIP - RETURNED to EX SHIP (... agreed wearing of destination) the exporter must ensure the carriage of the goods its own expenses to the wearing of destination agreed upon

DEQ: DELIVERED EX QUAY (DUTY PAID) - RETURNED A QUAY (RIGHTS DISCHARGE) (... agreed wearing of destination) the exporter must place the goods at the disposal of the purchaser cleared with the importation

 DDU: DELIVERED DUTY UNPAID - MADE RIGHT NOT DISCHARGE (... agreed destination) the exporter fulfilled its obligations when the goods are at the disposal of the purchaser to the place agreed upon

DDP: DELIVERED DUTY PAID - MADE RIGHT DISCHARGE (... agreed destination) the exporter must place the goods at the disposal of the purchaser in the country of importation and thus support all the expenses and risks, rights and taxes.
